This special event spotlights the most talented local artisans and exceptional handmade gifts, offering shoppers across Battle Creek and neighboring areas a trusted source for unique, meaningful holiday finds.

 

The Showcase will be delivered directly to inboxes, giving crafters prime exposure just before Christmas—without the hassle of markets, cold weather, or travel.

 

Spots are limited and filled on a first come, first featured basis, ensuring early registrants receive the best visibility.

Harper Holly Days Craft Show Brings Festive Fun and First-Class Artisans

The Harper Holly Days Craft Show and Fundraiser, hosted by the Beadle Lake Elementary PTO, filled the halls of Harper Creek High School with holiday cheer on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 9 AM to 3 PM.

 

Shoppers enjoyed a full day of community spirit, festive music, and creative inspiration as local artisans showcased their best handmade goods just in time for the holiday season.

 

No holiday shopping event is complete without great food, and this one didn’t disappoint. One of our favorite food trucks, Saint Samuel’s, was on site serving up their famous Sammy’s Pork Sandwiches — tender, flavorful, and absolutely worth the wait in line!

 

What always makes Harper Holly Days stand out is the high-end quality of its vendors and merchandise. This event consistently draws some of the region’s most talented makers, offering everything from hand-crafted jewelry and candles to cozy winter décor and unique holiday gifts.

 

It’s the perfect place to find something special for everyone on your list. 

 

I even managed to handle all my stocking stuffers while I was there!

 

A number of these talented vendors have already signed up to participate in the Crafters Collective Holiday Showcase Edition, a special online event debuting the week of Thanksgiving.

Battle Creek welcomed the holiday spirit as Swinging Gate Farm hosted its Home for the Holidays 2025 Craft Show on November 1st.

 

By midmorning, a cheerful crowd filled the parking lot and the crisp air buzzed with excitement.

 

Near the barn, visitors warmed up by a flickering fire pit while enjoying sweet donuts from The Copper Cup and savory offerings from Saint Samuel’s food truck.

 

The grounds overflowed with unique handmade treasures—rustic woodwork, whimsical birdhouses, delicate jewelry, local honey, and gourmet dog treats—showcasing the impressive talent of area vendors.

 

Inside, laughter and conversation filled the festive space, reflecting the heart and pride behind every display.

 

This beloved, twice-yearly craft show is a highlight for those seeking local gifts and a joyful country outing.

"Doll Dreams to Dollar Signs: The Inspirational Journey of Every Little Thing for Dolls"

Nancy Sutherland transformed a childhood hobby into a thriving local business, Every Little Thing for Dolls, after a special project with her niece inspired her to create handmade doll clothes.

 

Together, they picked fabrics and crafted matching outfits for two 18-inch dolls — a heartfelt surprise that quickly captured the attention of family, friends, and craft show shoppers.

 

As demand soared, Nancy’s creations expanded to over 200 unique patterns in six doll sizes, including styles inspired by beloved characters like Anna, Elsa, Jasmine, and Moana.

 

Now, her collection features not only meticulously made dresses but also original patterns and coordinating accessories, from hats to purses and shoes.

 

Every piece reflects her hands-on artistry and passion, turning a simple act of kindness into a dream career cherished by doll enthusiasts throughout the community.

"Fall Fest 2025: Hughes Elementary PCO Hosts Unforgettable Autumn Extravaganza!"

Hughes Elementary PCO's 2025 Fall Fest lit up the community with its biggest turnout ever under sunny autumn skies, drawing four times more guests than last year.

 

Festival goers of all ages packed the school grounds for a day of fun, hopping between a lively bounce house, a bouncy obstacle course, and an adorable petting zoo.

 

Classic games like cornhole kept laughter echoing as families mingled.

 

A highlight this year was the first-ever craft show, where local artisans showcased everything from custom shirts and crocheted items to homemade rock candy and doll clothes.

 

Food trucks like Saint Samuel’s, Que Rico’s Tacos, and An Cream Truck offered tasty favorites, keeping crowds fueled all day.

 

Strong community spirit, creativity, and support for local vendors made this Fall Fest a resounding success, already sparking excitement for next year’s celebration.

Join the Hughes Elementary PCO for Our Annual Community Fall Fest on October 4th!

Join the community at Hughes Elementary’s Annual Fall Fest on Saturday, October 4, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the school’s track and field, 103 West Hughes Street in Marshall, Michigan.

 

This beloved fundraiser brings families together to support local teachers and students.

 

Admission is free for children aged 2 and under and adults accompanying kids.

 

The first child is $7, with additional siblings just $5 each, and unaccompanied adults or singles also $5 per person.

 

Enjoy a day packed with arts and crafts, food trucks, bouncy obstacles, face painting, local vendors, fire truck tours, a petting zoo, fall games, and more.

Apple Fest in Coldwater, Michigan brought a delicious surprise: North Wind Bakery’s Apple Cinnamon Sourdough — a real highlight of the day.

 

This morning, the bread made for a perfect fall breakfast.

 

The crust crisped beautifully, while the tender crumb and gentle tang of sourdough let the apple and cinnamon flavors shine.

 

As it toasted, the kitchen was filled with the warm scent of baked apples and spice, truly capturing Michigan autumn on a plate.

 

Every bite felt carefully crafted and wonderfully local.
