Hughes Elementary PCO Fall Fest 2025: A Picture-Perfect Autumn Celebration

Article Sub Headline

What a day to remember! Under bright blue skies and crisp autumn air, the 2025 Hughes Elementary PCO Fall Fest brought families, friends, and neighbors together for a full day of fun, food, and festivities.

With attendance reportedly four times larger than last year, the event was buzzing from start to finish!

Fun for All Ages

The school grounds were transformed into a fall wonderland, complete with a bounce house, bouncy obstacle course, and petting zoo where kids (and grown-ups!) delighted in meeting friendly animals.

Classic outdoor games like cornhole kept the laughter going, while festival favorites offered entertainment around every corner.

First-Ever Craft Show a Hit

This year’s festival featured its first craft show, and it was a huge success!

Local makers and artisans filled the grounds with tables of handcrafted treasures.

Visitors browsed everything from cosmetics and health-care products to adorable doll clothes, quilted and crocheted items, custom printed shirts, and even handmade rock candy that had everyone coming back for seconds.

(A proud moment for us — my wife enjoyed a great day sharing her beautiful doll clothes with the community!)

🍔 Food Truck Favorites

No festival is complete without good eats, and Hughes Elementary delivered with a fantastic lineup of food trucks:

Saint Samuel’s — Serving up hearty sandwiches packed with flavor. The chicken sandwich was a crowd favorite, while the Sammy’s pork sandwich earned rave reviews (including from yours truly — the seasoning was spot-on!).

Que Rico’s Tacos — A taste of Mexico right in Battle Creek, with sizzling tacos that drew a steady line all day.

An Cream Truck — Because no fall fest is complete without a sweet treat!

Community Spirit Shines Bright

From families laughing in the bounce house to shoppers discovering handmade gifts, the 2025 Fall Fest embodied everything we love about community: connection, creativity, and celebration.

It’s inspiring to see local crafters and vendors supported so warmly, and with this kind of turnout, we’re already excited for next year!
